Yogananda arrived in the United States on the ship The City of Sparta, to attend the Seventh Unitarian Congress of Religious Liberals in Boston, Massachusetts as the delegate from India.
Yogananda addressed 200 members of the Kiwanis Club at the Nicollet Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota on “How to Recharge Business Batteries.”
Yogananda was received by Massachusetts Governor Alvan T. Fuller at the State House in Boston.
